Covid Response

Our customers and team are the heartbeat of everything we do, and our top priority is keeping our customers, team members and community safe. In light of the coronavirus, we want to share the latest from Matthews Auto in addressing the situation:

• At this time, as mandated by the State of New York, our Sales Departments are closed as of 3/22/20 until further notice (3/20 for PA Locations). We will continue to have appointments available (as we are essential business) for our Service Departments Monday thru Friday 8-5. 

• Please schedule your appointment prior to coming in at: https://www.matthewsauto.com/service/index.htm.

• We are providing all our Dealerships with the necessary supply of disinfectant, and will have hourly cleanings of all high touch surfaces and areas to kill germs and ensure our dealerships are a safe environment for our customers and team members.

• All team members have been instructed to stay home if they are sick and experiencing any of the coronavirus symptoms, until cleared by a medical professional to return to work. All employees that can work remotely are doing so.

• We are encouraging Appointments for Service. We will be staggering appointments to limit times of higher traffic.

• We are re-configuring our waiting rooms, giving greater social distance between seating.

• We are discouraging service customers from waiting in-store for their vehicle. We offer shuttle service and vehicle rentals.

• Handshaking is off limits at this time.

• Our internal Covid-19 task force is staying up to date on the latest recommendations by the CDC, and ensuring we do all we can to mitigate the risk of transmission. 

• We are closely monitoring developments, and put everyone's safety as our top priority.
